From the moment I stepped inside , it was apparent that hygiene was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and refuse that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — spilling over , with a snapped lever and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
